The University of Minnesota’s College Readiness Consortium is excited to announce an upcoming Career Webinar featuring the Music Teacher Licensure Programs in the School of Music and the Dance, Theatre, and Visual Art Licensure Program in the College of Education and Human Development, including a panel of UMN faculty who instruct and advise students working towards their teaching licenses.
We invite school counselors, teachers, and students in grades 6-12 to register for this free Zoom webinar on Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 10:00-11:00 CST. The panel will speak about the varied pathways available at UMN to become a licensed arts teacher, and will offer their expertise on requirements. Students will have a chance to submit questions for the panelists to answer.
